This geographically dispersed team oversees facilities management, daily operations, and programs, including a culinary team dedicated to preparing nutritious meals.\nWhat you’ll do\nWe're looking for a strategic leader and experienced workplace manager with a high EQ who's enthusiastic about, and has a driving need to deliver, the best possible workplace experience for Stripes. You will be a key member of our Experience team and responsible for ensuring that workplace operations, experiences, facilities, and programs run smoothly at our Bengaluru office. As a business partner, you have a deep understanding of the needs, experiences, and day-to-day realities of Stripes at your location and build strong relationships not only with site leads but also with cross-functional partners across the organization.\nThis role requires a high level of expertise and operational oversight-from understanding how the building functions top to bottom to governance of contractor team performance and ensuring financial accountability. Bengaluru is a complex site with a significant employee transportation program, and you will be accountable for the reliability, service quality, and continuous improvement of these operations. You will work in close strategic partnership with our integrated facilities management partner, establishing clear expectations, maintaining strong governance, addressing performance gaps, and ensuring services meet Stripe’s operational and workplace experience standards.\nYou will also play a critical role in managing operational incidents and disruptions. This requires remaining calm under pressure, bringing structure to ambiguity, coordinating the appropriate internal and external partners, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and translating lessons from incidents into durable operational improvements.\nA key part of the role is anticipating the needs of the business by understanding both the site and the broader context of company growth. You will gather and synthesize feedback from multiple sources to ensure the workplace strategy is informed by real insights from the ground. While enterprise workplace strategy is developed centrally, you are expected to bring informed recommendations based on local business needs and operational insight, and to own successful implementation and adoption at your site. You will develop site-level plans, surface material risks early, and provide leaders with clear recommendations and trade-offs rather than simply escalating problems.\n\nResponsibilities:\nOversee workplace operations at your site(s), providing direction on all workplace services, including building operations, front of house, shipping & receiving, events support, and employee health and safety.\nMake sound, independent operational decisions by balancing business impact, risk, cost, and employee experience, seeking alignment when decisions create broader organizational impact or precedent.\nLead, coach, and motivate a team of workplace services professionals, providing direction, coaching, and performance management to drive team excellence and continuous improvement.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams.\nDevelop a strong rapport with locally assigned Stripes.\nOwn operational performance for your site by monitoring service levels and utilization, identifying trends, resolving root causes, and driving continuous improvement across workplace operations.\nProactively anticipate business needs by understanding both local context and company priorities.\nDevelop thoughtful, data-informed recommendations that help shape workplace programs and experiences while maintaining alignment with global standards.\nHold workplace partners and service providers accountable for performance, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, and operational standards are consistently achieved while driving continuous improvement.\nWork closely with our Finance & Strategy partner and IFM partner to develop and oversee the opex budget for all facilities, opex, fixed assets and events of the Bengaluru office.\nWork closely with the local site leadership team to activate the office by creating engagement, connection, and an inclusive environment.\nCraft relevant communications and documentation regarding Workplace policies and programs for Stripes.\nEnsure consistent execution of global workplace programs, standards, and policies at your site, as developed by our Food, Space Planning, and Programs teams, adapting implementation to local operational requirements while maintaining alignment with enterprise objectives.\nSupport the Workplace team's goals by taking on ad hoc tasks and projects as they arise.\nWho you are\nMinimum requirements:\n7 years of experience in workplace/hospitality management in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer service orientation and an understanding of operational best practices\nStrong demonstrated ability in facilities management, vendor, and budget management\nStrength in building relationships with key internal partners to ensure efficiency and understanding on cross-functional projects\nExperience managing a team focused on customer service, hospitality, and operations, with the ability and desire to develop and coach your team\nAbility to synthesize operational data, stakeholder feedback, and business context into clear recommendations that support sound decision making.\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills\nAn innovative mindset with the ability to drive exceptional workplace services and operational improvements\nPreferred qualifications:\nProficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Jira\nA clear willingness to take a hands-on approach and dive into the details\nDemonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners and translate enterprise strategy into effective local execution.\nAbility to operate independently, digging into problems to understand the root cause and delivering scalable solutions\nThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace with rapidly changing priorities\nAdept at using and experimenting with provided AI tools for things like, identifying practical opportunities to automate routine
