We are looking for people who share these values and are eager to put them into practice.\nWhat we’re looking for\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or similar experience\n6-8 years of hands-on development experience\nExcellence in Go, C++ (17 or higher), Java (11 or higher), C# (9 or higher), or Rust\nProficiency in Python\nExperience with DevOps technologies: CI/CD tools, Git, Docker, Kubernetes\nProven experience with cloud architecture: commercial cloud, OpenStack\nExperience in the design and development of performant, scalable services\nFamiliarity with database design and architecture: relational and non-relational\nAbility to work cross-functionally and participate in or lead design discussions\nAbility to independently lead the software development life cycle, from collaborating with product teams on requirements to executing technical design, implementation, and deployment\nExperience in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching (i.e., onboarding, code reviews, leading junior engineers)\nStrong understanding of software development principles, such as object-oriented programming, design patterns, documentation, and agile methodologies\nDue to the nature of this role, candidates must be a US person (a US citizen, a US national, or a Green Card holder)\nThe following isn’t required, but we’d love to see it:\nUnderstanding of synchronous/asynchronous programming and concurrency\nComfort with integrating deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)\nExperience designing RESTful, gRPC, and/or GraphQL APIs\nUnderstanding of networked and distributed computing\nKnowledge of messaging systems (e.g., NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)\nExperience with workflow automation\nThis position offers a fully remote work environment, or you can work hybrid/on site at our office in northwest Austin, TX.\nCompensation\nThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000/year.
