We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Technician to join our team in a fast-paced production environment.\nAs our Electrical Technician, you are responsible for keeping production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your main focus is fault finding, repairs, and preventive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems within a fast-paced production environment.\nYou play a key role in minimising downtime by quickly diagnosing issues, resolving breakdowns, and implementing practical improvements. In addition to maintenance activities, you will support the installation and modification of equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.\nAlongside reactive work, you will carry out preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will also support installation and modification of equipment, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.\nThis is a hands-on role combining electrical and mechanical activities within a fast-paced production environment.\nIn this role, you will:\nDiagnose and resolve electrical faults on production equipment;\nPerform preventive maintenance to maximise reliability and uptime;\nCarry out mechanical interventions such as component replacement, alignment, and adjustments;\nSupport installation and modification of equipment and systems;\nWork safely in line with procedures (LOTO, permits, etc.).\nWhat you bring:\nEducational background in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline;\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or production environment;\nGood English and Dutch communication skills or a willingness to learn Dutch.\nKnowledge of Dutch and European electrical standards (e.g. NEN 1010, NEN 3140);\nStrong hands-on experience with electrical systems and industrial installations;\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings;\nGood communication skills in English, both written and verbal;\nNote:The candidate must be currently residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work and residence permit allowing them to work in the Netherlands. We do not provide visa sponsorship or support with obtaining a work permit for this position.\nWorking Conditions:\n40 hours per week (can include weekends in line with production shifts)\nAvailability for consignment/on-call duties\n The Team\nYou will be part of the Maintenance team within the Operations department.
