Join Strohm as a Production Engineer and play a key role in optimizing manufacturing performance, quality, and innovation.\nAs our Production Engineer, you'll play a key role in scaling our manufacturing operations and helping deliver high-quality products that support the energy transition.\nWorking at the heart of our production organization, you'll combine technical expertise with a hands-on approach to improve processes, solve manufacturing challenges, and support the production teams that keep our operation running safely and efficiently. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or a strong affinity for polymer extrusion.\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport the planning, preparation, and execution of extrusion and laminate production activities, including machine configurations, tooling requirements, and production setups;\nDrive process improvements that increase safety, quality, productivity, process stability, and operational performance;\nOptimize process control through automation, recipe management, line control systems, and monitoring of critical process parameters;\nInvestigate quality and safety observations, coordinate improvement actions, and maintain production standards, work instructions, and technical documentation;\nTrain and support Operators and Shift Leaders while collaborating with Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams on product development and customer projects;\nIdentify and implement improvements in tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes, while participating in the on-call support rotation.\nWhat you bring:\nA Bachelor's degree in Polymer Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field;\n2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing-focused engineering role;\nA strong interest in manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement;\nExperience with polymer extrusion processes; knowledge of PE, PA12, PVDF, or composite materials is a plus;\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and hands-on skills;\nThe ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines;\nStrong communication skills in Dutch and English;\nKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.\nWhy join us?\nSalary between €4000,- and €6000,- based on experience and qualifications;\n32 days of paid leave per year;\nBe part of an innovative, fast-paced company with global impact;\nStrohm’s Pension plan;\nDiscounted gym membership;\nBike lease plan through the company;\nCommuting allowance or NS Business Card;\nCompany-provided phone;\nHybrid working model (office and home-based).\nContact details\nWant to know more before you apply?
