For more information, please visit: www.strongpointpartners.com. \nPosition Overview:\nStrongpoint Partners is seeking an experienced Enrolled Actuary with Defined Benefit / Defined Contribution (DB/DC) Plan Administrator experience in the small business marketplace. An Enrolled Actuary will perform all levels of compliance testing and government reporting, and provide guidance to clients on plan design, contribution structure, and evolving legislative requirements. \nThis is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate who wants to develop within a fast growing organization. We are committed to supporting a flexible work environment and welcome candidates from all U.S. time zones.\nKey Responsibilities:\nUnderstand and interpret elements of Defined Benefit / Cash Balance Plan actuarial valuation & be able to communicate issues to in-house actuaries and clients.\nPrepare and facilitate PBGC filings for covered Defined Benefit Plans.\nMaintain industry knowledge and share information with client and team members.\nKeep up to date with changing 401(k) & Defined Benefit Plan legislative requirements.\nRead and interpret legal plan documents and amendments.\nDiscuss plan design changes and options with clients.\nReview 401(k) valuations/trust accounting/government reporting done on an accrual basis.\nPerform and understand non-discrimination testing.\nProvide actuarial and administration support to clients.\nPerform benefit calculations, valuations, AFTAP and schedule B.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n3-5+ years of retirement plan experience, (specifically small defined benefit plan experience preferred).\nEnrolled Actuary designation to sign documents required.\nExcellent knowledge of non-discrimination testing.\nKnowledge of Defined Benefit / Cash Balance actuarial valuation reports & PBGC filing requirements.\nKnowledge of advanced cross-testing concepts and ability to perform testing to determine the most cost-effective solutions to meet nondiscrimination requirements.\nProficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, & Outlook.\nExperience with Relius, FT William, or similar administration system.\nPay Transparency Statement:\nThe anticipated target salary for this position is $140,000-$150,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
