As a Design Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, working closely with experienced designers and clinical specialists to create patient-specific solutions.\nYou will need to live within commuting distance to Stryker’s Ventura, CA office and be on-site 5 days per week.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign patient-specific TMJ implants in accordance with established engineering procedures and surgeon preference listings\nEvaluate CT scans and anatomical models for image quality, reference geometry, and suitability for design\nCreate 3D implant designs using CAD software based on surgeon input and patient-specific anatomy\nPrepare design review packages, manufacturing drawings, and surgeon approval schematics\nPartner with surgeons and field teams to incorporate patient-specific requirements into final designs\nCoordinate with manufacturing and customer service teams to support design transfer and production readiness\nServe as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and clinical partners regarding design progress and updates\nMaintain accurate design documentation and meet defined turnaround timelines for each case\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering; Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline strongly preferred.\nMinimum 0 years of experience in engineering, design, or related technical discipline\nStrong customer focus and exceptional communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship experience in engineering, product design, or medical device manufacturing environments\nBasic understanding of human anatomy\nInterest in medical device design and patient-specific solutions\nCAD software experience, preferably SolidWorks\nMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.\n$76,500 - $122,000 USD Annual\nTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
