Conduct visual, dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.\nUnder general supervision, the Quality Inspector will perform inspection and testing activities of product in the incoming receipt, manufacture, packaging and /or release of Medical Devices at Stryker, ensuring product quality and throughput goals are met. Ensure compliance to procedures and practices at all times.\nWhat you will do:\nWorking within the Inspection Team, is responsible for inspection related activities, specific to the sites’ requirements, may include but not limited to the following:\nPerform dimensional and/or visual inspection to specification using gauges and other reliant inspection equipment.\nPerform material and component inspections.\nPerform First Article Inspection (FAI) and verify FAI data (incl. statistical analysis) is acceptable.\nRead and inspect to specifications and/or inspection guide sheets / instructions.\nPerform Document Review, analyse, inspect and archive DHRs (paper-based and/or electronically) in compliance to GMP/GDP requirements prior to release to finished goods.\nPerform computer system transactions related to router inspections, etc.\nSegregate, quarantine and complete documentation for non-conforming materials when necessary.\nInitiation of quarantine tickets\nPerform product release disposition tasks in the ERP system\nSupport the achievement of Inspection Teams’ KPI's.\nWork to forecasts and plans based on Business requirements.\nWhat you will need:\n1+ year’s relevant experience in GMP manufacturing environment \nStrong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.\nProven self-motivated and able to prioritize and resolve competing priorities.\nPrevious experience working in an electronics environment beneficial\nUnited Kingdom Pay Ranges:\n United Kingdom: £12.40 - £20.68 GBP Hourly\nAt Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
