Work Flexibility: OnsiteLogistics Operations Manager Permanent Contract On-Site Position in Newbury The Manager of Logistics Operations is responsible for the operation within the warehouse of their responsibility. This role manages a mid size team or teams within one site with a focus on tactical execution to prescribed high level strategy but requires a more experienced proven leader who can also develop strategy to meet service, personnel, cost targets set forth. The main objectives are to provide clear leadership and strategic direction to the local team, create a reputation of excellence and ensure a “Best in Class” organization is created and maintained through implementing solutions to further develop, drive and improve customer satisfaction / experience, manage and reduce costs, enhance and develop processes, and support the creation and optimization of an end-to-end supply chain. This role will promote teamwork and collaboration, quality performance standards, professionalism and integrity to ensure that results are delivered in accordance with the strategic plans, objectives and customers’ contractual agreements.
