In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of accounting professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational excellence, compliance, and financial integrity.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals responsible for inventory-related technical accounting activities.\n\nEnsureaccurateandtimelymonth-end close activities, including review and approval of complex journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and inventory accounting transactions.\n\nOversee key inventory accounting areas, including goods received not invoiced, goods in transit, excess and obsolete inventory, costing, inventory reserves, and inventory-related assets.\n\nPartner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and shared service teams to support financial reporting andtimelybook closure for a large and complex business entity.\n\nApply andmonitorcompliance with corporate accounting policies and US GAAP requirements across inventory accounting processes.\n\nSupport internal and external audits, including inventory-related control testing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities.\n\nDrive process improvement, standardization, system enhancements, and transition projects to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for inventory accounting inquiries and provide guidance on technical accounting matters to business stakeholders.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n\nMinimum 8 years of experience inaudit, accounting, or finance.\n\nMinimum 3 yearsof peopleleadership experience.\n\nFluent English languageproficiency.\n\nStrongexpertisein accounting standards\n\nKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n\nProfessional accounting certification(ACCA/CIMA)\n\nExperience with inventory accounting processes and controls\n\nExperience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards,etc)\n\nPolish languageproficiency\n\nPoland Pay Ranges:\n Poland: zł232.300 - zł387.100 PLN Annual\nAt Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
