The position is responsible for delivering measurable business results through cost savings, capacity expansion, productivity improvement, and strategic project portfolio management.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and execute the site's Continuous Improvement and PMO strategy, aligning initiatives to both annual objectives and 3-5 year operational growth plans.\nDrive Lean manufacturing practices, including Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, Gemba, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and structured problem solving.\nBuild a culture of operational excellence focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, capacity, and cost performance.\nLead and develop a Continuous Improvement and PMO team, including direct leadership of PMO resources and capability development across the organization.\nPartner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to identify and implement strategic improvements.\nOwn a portfolio of initiatives focused on cost savings, operational efficiency, capacity expansion, and business transformation.\nFacilitate project intake, business case development, prioritization, resource planning, governance reviews, and benefits realization.\nLead recurring PMO governance reviews to assess portfolio performance, remove execution barriers, track cost savings commitments, and ensure projects deliver expected results.\nPartner with Finance to validate business cases, monitor projected versus realized savings, and drive accountability for operational and financial outcomes.\nProvide leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health, project risks, resource constraints, business impact, and strategic trade-off decisions.\nLead high-impact cross-functional programs and influence decision-making across all organizational levels, including constructively challenging assumptions and recommending alternative approaches when needed.\nEstablish project management standards, governance processes, and best practices while ensuring compliance with applicable quality, financial, EHS, and regulatory requirements.\nLeadership & Business Expectations\nBalances near-term improvement needs with long-term cost, capacity, and strategic portfolio commitments. \nCreates clear project ownership, decision rights, resource priorities, and escalation paths across the portfolio. \nDevelops Lean, structured problem-solving, project-management, and portfolio-management capability across the Mako organization. \nCommunicates risks, tradeoffs, investment needs, progress, and results clearly to site and senior leadership. \nBuilds an inclusive, engaged, high-accountability team culture focused on safety, quality, customers, people development, and measurable business outcomes. \nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. \nAt least 8 years of relevant manufacturing, continuous improvement, project management, or operations experience, including at least 3 years leading CI initiatives, projects, programs, or technical professionals. \nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP certification, or equivalent professional qualification.\nExperience leading Continuous Improvement and PMO functions in medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.\nDemonstrated success managing project portfolios tied to cost savings, productivity improvements, capacity expansion, and operational transformation.\nExperience leading portfolio governance reviews, financial benefit tracking, benefits realization, and executive-level reporting.\nProven ability to influence leaders, challenge conventional thinking, facilitate difficult conversations, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.\nStrong business and financial acumen with experience connecting operational improvements to measurable P&L impact.\n\nUnited States of America Pay Ranges:\nUSN: $118,000 - $196,700 USD Annual\nView the U.S. work location and transparency guide to find the pay range for your location.\nTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
