Individual work utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management.\nEssential Functions:\nAllocates work to the OnSite team to ensure daily customer expectations are met, as well as ensuring that every team member, including self, is adhering to quality and productivity requirements of the task/services/information. \nResponsible for building out an onboarding guide for new hires and tailoring the onboarding process to each new hires learning style. Ensures all new hires/team members are credentialed and compliant with account. \nServes as a resource for team and supports day-to-day engagement, performance and activities. \nConsistently facilitates, leads, and actively participates in team building activities.\nResponsible for escalating all performacne and/or behavioral concerns/incidents to the Regional Supervisor in a timely manner. May assist with writing and delivering corrective action and common annual review. \nMust have a solid foundation of clinical expertise and is able to share that expertise with a wide array of audience, functional knowledge of SPD & OR. Significant understanding of surgeon preference.\nProvides in-service training at the request of the customer.\nGood understanding of Joint Commission requirements and managing that for the team and account.\nUnderstands the business metrics and Identifies areas of improvement and/or cost savings for customers.\nResponsible for the fee per case submission and tracker, if necessary. \nCommunication must be proactive, clear, and complete. Information exchange requires tact and diplomacy and must with the appropriate account stakeholders given the circumstance.\nAttends and participates in continuing education webinars throughout the year. \nCreates and conducts team huddle; update huddle board/tracker daily (or on regular weekly cadence for small teams).\nResponsible for trouble-shooting and maintaining Stryker equipment and or other related devices.\nPartners with surgeons, surgical staff, central processing, biomedical and/or all related personnel to improve surgical outcomes. \nMust accurately and honestly record and report data metrics related to all specific job functions on a monthly basis, including all surgical procedure information.\nResponsible for maintaining up-to-date account information to ensure continuous high levels of service at the account, including all vendor credentialing required by the account for self and team.\nEscalates safety and quality issues to initiate remedial action.\nActively partners with fellow Team Leads across nation to drive standardization and continuous improvement across regional lines.\nAdheres to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards and procedures. Ensures specialists are adhering to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards and procedures; escalates any violations to the Regional Supervisor.\nMaintain professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude required by Stryker and the medical facility.\nAdhere to (HIPAA) and other related patient confidentiality policies and procedures. \nProvide support/coverage on all shifts at your assigned account, as well as provide support/coverage at other account in and outside your region; other shifts might include on-call, overnight, and weekends; other accounts might require overnight travel.\nNote: Assigned shifts may change without notice based on account/business needs, this may include a rotating shift (which is a shift that has rotating/changing days of the week AND start and end time)\nEducation and Special Trainings:\nBachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree or equivalent certifications preferred.\nApplicable for Specialists working in Sterile Processing Department: HSPA CRCST Certification is required for this role; on time yearly renewal is also required. \nQualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year of Operating Room and/or Sterile Processing experience, demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures and techniques.\n1 year of experience in OnSite preferred\nBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. \nThe ability to troubleshoot issues quickly, efficiently, and effectively in the moment in demanding, high stress situations.\nThe ability to provide support/coverage, not only at your assigned account during your assigned shift, but also on other shifts that need additional support. Note: Assigned shifts may change without notice based on account/business needs, this may include a rotating shift (which is a shift that has rotating/changing days of the week AND start and end time)\nThe ability to provide on-call services as required by the hospital/account, which may include overnight and weekends. If the account contract includes on-call services, you must be within 45 minutes driving distance from the account.\nThe ability to provide support/coverage at other accounts in other regions, which may include overnight travel. \nThe role requires you to have your own smartphone.
