You will be responsible for :\nWhat you will do \nSupport global Indirect procurement initiatives in EMEA and LatAm by Global category managers.\nRun independent -and owning Pan-European savings initiatives in Commercial Europe >100K\nSupport -and guide local savings initiatives per country -and category Develop and drive Sourcing strategies together with stakeholders\nFollow Stryker policies and driving best practice sharing\nDrive supplier management / development activity, where we own category management\nSupport ad-hoc projects as required\nResponsible and owner of Procurement projects, management of Self, delivering to agreed savings targets / implementation objectives and close deals with a signed contract. \nFollow agreed processes and structure in reporting savings and storing contracts.\nHaving bi-monthly reviews of indirect savings initiatives with main stakeholders of countries in scope -and functions.\nSupport Team activities aimed at continuous improvement and Best in class procurement\nDrive Competitive bids, tendering, contracting with a goal bring under contract >100k suppliers and support local buyers to contract 10-100k spend suppliers.\nLiaise with Global category leads and be responsible for bringing understanding of additional European requirements and needs into Global tenders.\nReduce risk and establish security of supply of contracted services and goods.\nReduce the number of suppliers and simplify landscape with Preferred, contract, local, outsource solutions and spot buying vendors.\nDrive spend to negotiated rate cards -and contracted suppliers\nEducation & Special Training:\nMaster’s degree and/or Certified Purchasing Manager (or equivalent).\nGood understanding of financial analysis, strategic analysis, trained negotiation skills and project management\nGood understanding of procurement / strategic commodity management preferred.\nEnglish & German are mandatory and Spanish would be a plus\nQualifications & Experience:\n5+ years relevant working experience in multiple direct or indirect procurement categories with an international scope\nSourcing/Supply Chain certifications or training is desired.\nExperience in commodity analysis/supplier management/project management roles.\nExperience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements.\nExperience working with & developing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders to deliver results.\nProject management capability and experience.\nCapability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience working in a med-tech/fast-growing environment is a plus.\nPhysical & Mental Requirements:\nMust be able to communicate and present to groups of colleagues or suppliers.\nMust be able to develop and review presentation materials.\nMust be able to communicate telephonically or on online tools\nAbility to use common business tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Suite of products.\nActive (speak -and listen) working behavior to suppliers (dare to ask -and discuss)\nCollaborative working behavior to colleagues Indirect Procurement is supporting\nWe have signed the Diversity Charter and are proud to be part of this initiative to promote diversity in the workplace.
