subsystems for Mako robotic end effectors, taking ownership of assigned electrical designs throughout the development lifecycle.\nTranslate product requirements into electrical engineering specifications, circuit designs, and technical solutions.\nPerform schematic design, PCB development, component selection, and electrical hardware integration activities.\nBuild and evaluate prototypes, conduct bench testing, and validate electrical functionality and performance.\nTroubleshoot electrical hardware and system-level issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.\nIntegrate electrical hardware with mechanical, software, and other system components to support reliable robotic system performance.\nEvaluate existing designs, identify opportunities for improvement, and support ongoing product development and engineering changes.\nConduct electrical testing, verification activities, and technical investigations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and quality requirements.\nDevelop and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, design specifications, test procedures, technical reports, and design history records.\nCollaborate with Systems, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support successful product development.\nApply engineering best practices, design controls, and risk management principles in accordance with applicable medical device regulations and quality system requirements.\nWhat You Need\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required.\n2 or more years of professional engineering experience is required.\nPreferred Qualifications (You do not need to have all of these)\nExperience designing, developing, building, testing, and troubleshooting electrical hardware or subsystems.\nExperience with electrical schematic design, PCB development, and component selection.\nProficiency with electrical design tools, with experience using Altium Designer preferred.\nHands-on experience with electrical prototyping, bench testing, and laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.\nExperience troubleshooting electrical circuits and resolving hardware integration or system-level issues.\nUnderstanding of electrical system integration and interactions between hardware, software, and mechanical components.\nExperience translating engineering requirements into electrical designs, test plans, and verification activities.\nFamiliarity with electrical manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability, and hardware reliability considerations.\nExperience supporting electromechanical systems, robotics, or other complex integrated products.\nExperience working in a regulated industry, particularly medical devices, including familiarity with design controls, risk management, and technical
