In this hands-on engineering role, you will focus on electrical testing, hardware troubleshooting, and system-level verification of products incorporating sensors, motors, actuators, microcontrollers, and electronic control systems.\nYou will work closely with electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers to evaluate product performance, investigate failures, and identify opportunities to improve product reliability. This position offers the opportunity to support both established and recently launched products within our Surgical Support portfolio, as well as contribute to laboratory testing and automation initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong electrical engineering fundamentals, a practical approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to independently execute engineering assignments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop, execute, and document electrical and system-level verification tests for complex electromechanical medical devices, including normal operating conditions, boundary conditions, and fault scenarios.\nPerform hands-on electrical testing and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other laboratory equipment to evaluate circuit and system behavior.\nInterpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation to understand hardware functionality, identify potential issues, and support testing activities.\nInvestigate electrical and electromechanical system failures, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with design engineers to identify and implement solutions.\nDevelop and improve test methods, procedures, fixtures, and laboratory setups to support product verification and development activities.\nSupport testing of embedded hardware and electronic control systems involving microcontrollers, sensors, motors, actuators, power electronics, and related components.\nCollaborate with electrical, software, mechanical, systems, and quality engineering teams to support design verification, product improvements, and resolution of technical issues.\nContribute to laboratory test automation and equipment improvements, including opportunities to automate testing of capital equipment and electromechanical systems.\nCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including test protocols, results, technical reports, and verification records in accordance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.\nIndependently manage assigned engineering deliverables, communicate technical findings, and contribute to problem-solving across teams and geographic locations.\nParticipate in technical reviews and support engineering design activities as needed.\nWhat You Need\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering discipline is required.\n2 or more years of experience is required.
