This individual will support the technical engineering lead through component development, prototyping, benchtop testing, CAD, writing test protocols and reports and routing change orders.\nThis a hybrid based role in Cary, IL.\nTo learn more about Stryker’s Sage portfolio, please click here: Sage | Stryker.\nWhat You Will Do\nResearch, design, develop, modify, and verify mechanical components and modules for medical devices with minimal supervision.\nTranslate design inputs into engineering specifications and produce subsystem-level designs.\nPrototype and analyze design solutions to validate concepts and performance.\nApply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.\nCreate and refine engineering documentation, including Design History Files, in compliance with design control procedures.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams.\nUnderstand product use and clinical procedures to inform design strategy and decisions.\nSupport regulatory compliance by following industry standards, risk management, and quality system requirements.\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.\nMinimum 2 years of relevant work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficiency in mechanical engineering practices and design principles.\nAbility to create engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools.\nKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.\nFamiliarity with CAD tools, preferably Creo.\nExperience communicating technical plans and information to cross-functional teams\nUnited States of America Pay Ranges:\n US10: $85,500 - $142,500 USD Annual\nTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
