The role requires a strong foundation in server technologies, networking, databases, healthcare integrations, and structured implementation methodologies. Implementation Engineers work collaboratively with customers, internal teams, and third-party technology vendors to integrate solutions within the broader healthcare technology ecosystem. This includes clinical communication systems, Electronic Health Record Systems (EHR), nurse call, patient monitoring, messaging infrastructure, telephony, and other third-party platforms. Successful candidates will combine strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, communicate effectively with customers and technical stakeholders, and execute complex implementations using structured and repeatable methodologies.\nWhat You Will Do\nPlan, design, install, configure, test, and validate healthcare communication solutions within customer environments.\nIntegrate solutions with external systems such as EHRs, nurse call systems, physiological patient monitoring systems, telephony systems, messaging middleware, and other third-party applications.\nPerform technical discovery and collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand infrastructure, networking, integration, and application requirements.\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Stryker clinical communication solutions running on Windows Server and Linux environments, including application services, OS-level dependencies, and physical and virtualized infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues across application, server, network, database, and integration layers.\nApply TCP/IP networking and security fundamentals when deploying and troubleshooting solutions in customer environments.\nCollaborate with clinical leads to understand workflow requirements and translate clinical and technical requirements into appropriate solution configurations.\nExecute structured implementation methodologies including technical discovery, solution configuration, integration, testing, validation, documentation, and transition to support.\nDevelop and execute test plans and perform end-to-end system testing to validate solution functionality, integration, and performance.\nCoordinate effectively with internal cross-functional teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.\nCommunicate project status, technical risks, dependencies, and issues clearly and consistently to appropriate stakeholders.\nFollow applicable security practices to protect customer, medical, and sensitive information.\nWhat you need:\nRequired\nBachelors in Computer Science or related technical field\nMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing technical services or support\nPreferred:\nDemonstrated ability with HL7 integrations or healthcare IT interoperability\nPrior VMWare vCenter experience in large production environments; working knowledge of the supporting infrastructure (blade server systems, storage arrays, networking equipment) associated with creating and supporting modern virtualized data centers \nExperience with monitoring tools such as Nagios Zabbix, and Configuration management tools like Ansible or similar is a plus \nExperience with TCP/IP networking & security fundamentals as well as network load balancers (Citrix ADC; NetScaler or F5 Big IP) \nDemonstrated understanding of structured implementation methodologies, with an emphasis on end-to-end testing of complex systems \nPrior experience integrating nurse call and/or patient monitoring systems \nAbility to deploy technology in the healthcare market is highly desired\nUnited States of America Pay Ranges:\nUSN: $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual\nUS5: $81,600 - $136,000 USD Annual\nUS10: $85,500 - $142,500 USD Annual\nUS15: $89,400 - $148,900 USD Annual\nUS20: $93,200 - $155,400 USD Annual\nUS30: $101,000 - $168,400 USD Annual\nView the U.S. work location and transparency guide to find the pay range for your location.Travel Percentage: 40%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
