This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of Stryker's quality systems and ensuring regulatory compliance across all product lines.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform packaging, line, incoming and manufacturing inspections of mechanical and electromechanical products and component parts.\nEnsure raw materials, in-process and finished products or components meet company and FDA standards.\nFollow defined inspection techniques and procedures, working from engineering schematics and blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests.\nComply with all documentation, FDA procedures and policies.\nInspect packaging, labelling and literature to ensure regulatory compliance.\nInteract with customers and vendors, both in person and remotely, to resolve inspection and component issues.\nAccurately record inspection results to ensure proper handling of accepted and rejected products.\nContribute to the development of quality systems working instructions.\nMay help devise and utilise standard and non-standard inspection procedures.\nMay lead shop floor management activities on a rotation basis with other associates.\nPerform all required tasks to ensure the provisions of the quality system are met.\nMake on-the-spot decisions that may affect immediate operations and have a company-wide impact.\nCarry out all other duties as assigned by manager.\nWhat You'll Need\nHigh school diploma required. \nQuality Assurance training preferred.\n1 to 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines while maintaining positive working relationships.\nStrong mental focus and accuracy in a highly detailed working environment.\nAbility to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, sit and remain on feet for extended periods of time.\nAbility to lift, carry, push and pull in excess of 50lbs required weight limits.\nComfortable operating machinery in a moderate to high noise environment.\n$26.20/hr\nTravel Percentage: 0%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
