Assure all production equipment is up-to-date on calibration cycle and meets calibration requirements.\nMaintenance of calibration management system and associated hardcopy and soft-data in accordance with SYK Quality Management System requirements\nTraining of personnel in the various calibrationcertification procedures and methods\nComplete Engineering evaluations for all product and equipment.\nConduct rework and issue material requests based on Engineering Evaluation Reports.\nTest, troubleshoot and diagnose, electronic components, sub-assemblies and instruments in accordance with approved practices and procedures.\nFollow process documents, test procedures, and other established criteria.\nTroubleshoot a wide variety of assemblies and interface with engineering in resolving the root cause for technical problems and defect analysis.\nProvide active line side support for all label printing activities. Test, troubleshoot and diagnose label printing process in accordance with approved practices and procedures.\nCollect, analyze, maintain and report data from production processes using proper measurement techniques and implement corrective actions\nUse lean manufacturing strategy to drive continuous improvement for quality, efficiency, and cost reduction\nTrain and certify others to the duties and responsibilities as required\nPrepare, organize, and document work digitally using a computer.\nManage individual workload by prioritizing projects with different stakeholders and timeframes.\nAdherence to and enforcement of all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements on sites, plus communication of any concerns regarding environmental impact, health, or safety issues to their manager.\n\nWhat you will need:\nLevel 3 qualification or equivalent experience in Electronics/ Computer Science or Engineering related\n2 years of electronic technician experience\nExperience with Zebra Printer and BarTender is desired\nGood level of PC skills\nKnowledge of related practices, processes and procedures to operate a variety of electronic test equipment.\nSolid troubleshooting and repair fundamentals\nWilling to take on and familiarize with all relevant site systems as deemed necessary to complete the role.\nAbility to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.\nStrong communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents.\nCapable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic and results motivated environment\nFostering a working environment of continuous improvement\nCapable of working autonomously\nAbility to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to details and quality of workmanship.\nGood manual dexterity, and eye/hand coordination.\nExperience using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).\nCapable of training manufacturing team members\nUnited Kingdom Pay Ranges:\n United Kingdom: £14.36 - £23.94 GBP Hourly\nAt Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
