The employee is expected to be physically present at a Stryker location on a weekly basis but has the flexibility to work from home.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nDevelop best in class strategic sourcing strategies for assigned suppliers and/or commodities in support of business objectives\nImplement supplier and/or commodity strategy which will include spend/supply assessments, consolidation strategy, sourcing selection, financial and make v’s buy analyses. \nDevelop strong relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses. Represent the ‘voice of the supplier’ in the organization \nNegotiate favorable long-term supply contracts and serve as the escalation point in resolving supplier challenges.\nIdentify supply base risk, develop and implement mitigation plans\nUtilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes.\nPerform cost analyses in partnership with Value Engineering and engage in cost-based negotiations with suppliers.\nResponsible for assuring cost standards are established for annual operating budgets. \nLead development of scorecards and business reviews for key suppliers\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, Finance, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience\n8 Years experience in supply chain management, of which at least 5+ years in strategic sourcing.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience operating in a highly regulated industry \nDemonstrated excellence in contractual negotiations and administration to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services\nExperience in the assessment and mitigation of risk in the supply base \nInternational procurement and supplier management experience \nUSN: $118,000 - $196,700 USD Annual\nTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
