The right candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with the judgment, technical curiosity, and influence needed to lead teams without direct authority.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead multiple complex, cross-functional R&D projects and digital product workstreams from planning through execution, balancing new product development, sustaining work, integrations, and other strategic business initiatives.\nOwn project scope, schedules, milestones, and dependencies, including development of integrated plans that align digital and connected-device teams.\nManage several concurrent workstreams and priorities, ensuring resources are focused at the right time and cross-functional dependencies are visible and actively managed.\nIdentify project risks early, evaluate business impact and interdependencies, and use sound judgment to determine appropriate mitigation and escalation.\nDrive clarity and accountability in ambiguous situations, helping teams make decisions, resolve obstacles, and maintain momentum against key milestones.\nPartner closely with engineering and technical teams, developing enough understanding of the work to anticipate dependencies, ask meaningful questions, and support effective planning and execution.\nInfluence stakeholders across functions and levels without direct authority, building alignment while balancing competing priorities and business needs.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project management processes, workflows, and operating practices, and help build scalable approaches that make execution easier for the teams that follow.\nFacilitate project planning, scoping, workshops, and stakeholder discussions, ensuring teams understand priorities, responsibilities, decisions, and next steps.\nCommunicate project status, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to project teams and senior leadership.\nSupport resource and budget planning, working with functional leaders to ensure the appropriate capabilities and capacity are aligned to project needs.\nApply both traditional and, where appropriate, Agile project management practices to support a fast-paced digital product environment.\nBuild strong working relationships across the organization while creating an environment where team members are comfortable raising concerns, challenging assumptions, and identifying better ways of working.\nWhat You Need\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent is Required.\n6+ years of professional experience, including demonstrated project management experience leading complex projects.\nWhat We Would Love That You Have (Preferred Qualifications)\nYou do not need to have all of these!\nDemonstrated ability to develop and manage project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and driving results through influence rather than direct reporting authority.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and make sound decisions in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.\nDemonstrated ability to identify issues, drive action, and improve processes rather than waiting for direction.\nExperience supporting digital products, software development, or other technology-driven programs.\nExperience working with connected devices, medical devices, or another complex product development environment.\nExperience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.\nExperience facilitating workshops, project scoping sessions, or other cross-functional planning activities.\nExperience with project budgeting and resource planning.\nNew product development and/or sustaining product experience.\nPMP or equivalent project management certification.\nUnited States of America Pay Ranges:\nPuerto Rico: $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual\nUSN: $102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual\nUS5: $107,700 - $179,600 USD Annual\nUS10: $112,900 - $188,100 USD Annual\nUS15: $118,000 - $196,600 USD Annual\nUS20: $123,100 - $205,200 USD Annual\nUS30: $133,400 - $222,300 USD Annual\nView the U.S. work location and transparency guide to find the pay range for your location.Travel Percentage: 20%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
