You will partner closely with physicians, engineering teams, technology suppliers, and strategic collaborators to define requirements, assess technical feasibility, and accelerate the development of our future products.\nThis role is onsite in Irvine, California.\nTo learn more about Stryker’s Peripheral Vascular portfolio, please click here: Peripheral Vascular | Stryker\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport the development of next-generation peripheral vascular technologies through concept generation, prototyping, and early-stage product development.\nResearch, design, develop, modify, and verify catheter-based medical device components and subsystems with minimal supervision.\nTranslate design inputs, clinical needs, and user requirements into engineering specifications and subsystem-level designs.\nPrototype and analyze design solutions to validate technical feasibility, concept performance, and clinical value.\nContribute to the rapid iteration and evaluation of concepts based on effectiveness, system reliability, manufacturability, and clinical safety.\nApply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges involving catheter technologies, electromechanical systems, and innovative medical device concepts.\nUtilize CAD and CAE tools to model mechanical, fluidic, and electromechanical components while creating detailed engineering drawings and documentation.\nCreate and refine engineering documentation, including Design History Files, in compliance with design control procedures.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams to advance concepts through feasibility and development.\nSupport regulatory compliance by following industry standards, risk management practices, and quality system requirements.\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.\nMinimum 2 years of relevant work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting catheter-based medical device development, including exposure to catheter technologies, components, design, testing, or related product development activities.\nExposure to electromechanical systems, electronics, sensing technologies, or electrical components used in medical device applications (eg.
