You will play a key role in advancing next-generation solutions through electrical architecture development, hardware validation, system integration, and technical leadership.\nLearn more about the product you would support: Emergency Medical Services | Stryker\nWhat You Will Do\nTranslate user and clinical needs into design inputs, specifications, and innovative hardware solutions.\nDesign and develop complex embedded systems and electronic hardware, using low-power microcontrollers, analog/digital circuits, communication interfaces, and power management architectures.\nCreate and maintain electrical schematics, design documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using industry-standard EDA tools.\nLead PCB design and layout activities, ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and manufacturability.\nPerform hands-on board bring-up, debugging, testing, and root cause investigations using advanced lab equipment.\nDevelop and execute hardware verification activities, including test plans, DFMEA, design controls, risk management, and compliance documentation.\nSelect and integrate key system components such as sensors, motors, actuators, and other electromechanical technologies.\nCollaborate closely with firmware, software, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, clinical, and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.\nDrive medical device product development from concept through launch while incorporating Voice of Customer feedback, clinical insights, and market needs.\nEnsure compliance with medical device standards, regulatory requirements, quality systems, and Design History File (DHF) documentation while mentoring others on best practices.]\nWhat You Need (Required Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n4+ years of experience in electrical hardware design and product development.\nExperience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems and circuits.\nProficiency with electrical design tools for schematic capture, circuit design, and analysis.\nStrong understanding of electrical fundamentals, components, and system-level design principles.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with embedded hardware, microcontrollers, analog/digital circuitry, communication interfaces, and power management.\nExperience with PCB design, layout, board bring-up, and hardware debugging.\nKnowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, and design for manufacturability.\nExperience with sensors, actuators, motors, and electromechanical systems.\nMedical device experience, including design controls, risk management, DFMEA, verification/validation, and regulatory requirements.\nExperience working in a cross-functional product development environment from concept through commercialization.\nFamiliarity with industry standards, quality systems, and Design History File (DHF) documentation.\n$89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual\nTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
