The role will identify and deliver productivity and cost improvement opportunities using Industrial Engineering methods, Lean and data-driven problem-solving methodologies, while partnering closely with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements .\nResponsibilities:\nPerform time in motion studies, work measurement and standard work development. \nEstablish and maintain labour standards using BSI rating scale and aligned with the International Labour Organisation guidelines. \nAnalyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, capacity, quality and cost. \nLead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and improve operational performance. \nConduct capacity analysis, identify constraints and support capacity planning. \nOptimise production line balancing, labour utilisation and headcount requirements. \nDevelop and improve manufacturing layouts, workstation design and material flow. \nSupport ergonomic improvements and effective workstation design. \nAnalyse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. \nDevelop business cases and quantify benefits for cost reduction and productivity projects. \nLead or support cost-saving projects from identification through implementation and benefit tracking. \nPartner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance on improvement initiatives. \nSupport new product introductions, equipment changes and manufacturing transfers from an Industrial Engineering perspective. \nDevelop and monitor KPIs for productivity, utilisation, capacity and operational performance. \nUse structured problem-solving methodologies to address operational performance gaps. \nSupport Kaizen events, value-stream analysis and other continuous-improvement activities. \nEnsure improvements are sustainable through appropriate standardisation, documentation and performance monitoring. \nProvide Industrial Engineering input into capital investment and resource planning. \nIdentify opportunities for automation and technology deployment where these can improve manufacturing performance. \nCoach and support operational teams in the application of Industrial Engineering and Lean principles. \nAll other duties as assigned. \nQualifications / Skills:\nLevel 8 Degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline or equivalent Technical experience. \nHas 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. \nBusiness understanding of operations and there impacts essential. \nHigh level of PC Skills required. \nFlexibility essential. \nStrong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. \nSelf-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. \nThe individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results motivated team environment. \nExperience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial. \nExperience in a six sigma and Lean Manufacturing environment with proven improvement results. \nGreen or Black Belt 6 Sigma qualifications. \nAbility to effectively work cross-functionally with A.O, Quality, etc. \nIreland Pay Ranges:\n Ireland: €54,000 - €90,000 EUR Annual\nAt Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
