The individual will be involved throughout the entire product development cycle from concept to launch, working closely with other disciplines within R&D to ensure products are developed effectively, safely and efficiently.\nThis a hybrid based role in Cary, IL.\nTo learn more about Stryker’s Sage portfolio, please click here: Sage | Stryker.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision.\n\nTranslate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions.\n\nLead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance.\n\nIdentify and resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes.\n\nApply clinical knowledge to author design inputs and support Voice of Customer sessions.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices.\n\nCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally to drive projects from concept through launch.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.\n\nMinimum four years of relevant engineering experience.\n\nExperience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.\n\nProficiency in creating engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with CAD tools, preferably Creo.\n\nKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.\n\nFamiliarity with risk management and quality systems in a regulated environment.\n\nUnited States of America Pay Ranges:\n US10: $98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual.\nTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
