You’ll play a key role in delivering production targets, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and creating an environment where people can learn, contribute and succeed. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help drive continuous improvement, encourage collaboration and ensure we deliver for our customers and, ultimately, patients.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead daily manufacturing operations to achieve targets across safety, quality, service, cost and people development.\nPlan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.\nMonitor production performance, including rework, scrap, line clearance and quality audits, taking action where needed.\nCoach, mentor and support team members to build skills and achieve their potential.\nProvide regular feedback and address performance issues fairly, constructively and promptly.\nFoster positive employee relations, engagement and open communication across the team.\nWork with Training to develop training programmes and team development plans.\nSupport the recruitment and selection of Production Operators.\nMaintain high standards of GMP, 6S, housekeeping, health and safety.\nLead and participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.\nPromote a culture of accountability, problem-solving and ongoing improvement.\nCommunicate team and business performance through regular meetings and daily engagement on the production floor.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality and other functions to resolve issues and improve operational performance.\nManage time and attendance requirements, annual leave and overtime planning effectively.\nWhat You Will Need\nDegree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar Discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience\n4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.\n2 years minimum Supervisor experience.\nPossesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of a production environment.\nUsually works with a minimum of supervision, conferring with leader on unusual matters.\nDemonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross functional team\nWhy Join Stryker?\nJoin a team where collaboration, development and continuous improvement are central to how we work.
