You will help protect the systems and information that support Genmab's science and commitment to patients. Working alongside experienced security architects and engineers, you will help guide the completion of System Security Plans and improve our Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview platforms and security configurations. You will gain practical experience translating security requirements into documented controls and tested configuration improvements.\n\nHelp us get to know you by submitting a complete and thoughtful application, including your CV and motivation letter. We'd love to hear what interests you about this internship and how it connects to your studies and learning goals.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nHelp document system purpose, architecture, data sensitivity, security controls, supporting evidence, and outstanding gaps; prepare plans for review by security architects and responsible system owners.\nReview existing Microsoft Defender configurations and security posture with the team, identify improvement opportunities, and support prioritized remediation.\nSupport improvements to Microsoft Purview information protection and data loss prevention configurations, including reviewing policies and testing their intended behavior.\nCompare security configurations with approved standards and baselines, including relevant CIS guidance, and document recommendations.\nHelp test and implement approved configuration changes under supervision and through established change processes; record results and update technical documentation.\nCreate clear progress reports, practical guidance, and handover documentation so the team can sustain the improvements.\nRequirements\n\n Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences in Cyber Security, Business IT & Management, Computer Science.\nAvailable for a minimum of 6 months (up to 9 months).\nA basic understanding of operating systems, networking, identity and access management, and security controls, gained through coursework, projects, or practical experience.\nAn interest in security configuration, endpoint and cloud security, information protection, and turning requirements into practical improvements.\nA structured approach to gathering information, documenting findings, and following up on actions with different stakeholders.\nThe ability to communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in conversations with technical and business colleagues.\nCuriosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, ask questions, and work collaboratively while handling sensitive information responsibly.\nExposure to Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or scripting such as PowerShell or Python is a plus.
