The Security Awareness & Human Risk Intern supports the Security Team in strengthening the organization's security culture, with a particular focus on human-related risks. This role contributes to the enhancement of our existing security awareness program by bringing creativity, structure, and clear communication to awareness initiatives.\n\nA project outline is already set up, yet there is room for you to shape the internship in a way that fits your interests as well as your school's requirements, while the focus will remain on the Human Factor risk.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSupport the identification and assessment of human factor risks in daily business processes\nContribute creative input to the ongoing development of the security awareness program (e.g., campaigns, messaging, training concepts)\nAssist in creating and refining awareness materials, ensuring complex security topics are communicated in a clear and engaging way\nHelp coordinate awareness-related activities, timelines, and internal communications\nWork closely with the Security Team to collect feedback and evaluate the impact of awareness initiatives\nParticipate in the preparation of presentations, documentation, and internal guidelines\nRequirements\n\n Actively enrolled - throughout the duration of this internship - in a relevant HBO or Master's degree program at a Dutch university.\nBackground in cybersecurity, with understanding of core security concepts and risks.\nStrong interest in the human element of security and behavioral aspects of risk.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
