It is a site for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society.\nInternship Program Description\nThe Museum’s Internship Program offers college undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates' valuable insights into the operations of a professional museum environment. Interns collaborate on meaningful and engaging projects with museum staff and participate in a series of meetings and workshops focused on contemporary museology.\n*Please note: Only individuals who are authorized to work in the United States are eligible for this program.*\nJob Summary\nTheDevelopment Intern will work closely with members of the Development team to help with the Museum’s fundraising efforts. Primary responsibilities include assisting with correspondence and research related to individual giving, conducting research on corporations and foundations, drafting select grant reports and proposals, writing profiles and programmatic summaries,updatingandmaintainingrecords in Tessitura database and organizing mailings of information to donors and prospects.Previousfundraising, marketing, or public relations experience is helpful but notrequired.\nThe Development Internship is designed for undergraduate and graduate students and recent college graduates interested in careers in Arts Administration, Marketing, or related fields.\nApplication Information\nTheSpring 2027 season will featureeightinternship positions: Communications, Curatorial, Director’s Office, Development, Education,Graphic Design,Public Programs, and Registrar.\nApplicants are encouraged todesignateboth a first and second choice for the positions they wish to be considered for in their cover letter.
