The ideal candidates will have:\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design. \n7-10 years of New York-based project management experience at an architectural or interior design firm working on large commercial office, mixed-use, civic, academic, cultural, or other complex projects.\nExperience managing project teams, creating project proposals and fees, reviewing contracts and invoices, and interfacing with clients.\nCapable of leading multiple projects independently as well as collaborating on larger-scale projects as part of a team. Ability to balance demands on multiple projects at various stages of development.\nAbility to develop designs with an understanding of building systems, sustainability requirements, accessibility, and code compliance for solutions that are unique and engaging while tailored to the client’s vision and project requirements.\nStrong technical knowledge of Type I, Type II construction, construction detailing, building materials, and systems.\nExperience in LEED documentation and certification, space programming, space planning, workplace strategy, entitlements, planning approvals, and other relevant facets of commercial architecture and planning is desirable.\nDesign and documentation experience using Revit required. \nThe ideal candidate is a licensed Architect in the State of New York.\nQualities desired to excel in this role include an ability to be facile at problem-solving, and strong presentation and communication skills.
