{"id":1952481,"url":"https://alion.io/job/study-group-senior-fpa-manager-study-group","title":"Senior FP&A Manager - Study Group","company":{"id":450061,"name":"Study Group","domain":"studygroup.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/study-group","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"JazzHR","truth_index":null},"role":"Finance","role_family":"Finance","seniority":"senior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Brighton, United Kingdom"],"countries":["GB"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":57000,"max_usd":111000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":88},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Power BI","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-06T10:34:16Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-06","last_verified_at":"2026-10-20T01:43:49Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":13,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":13},"description":"Contract type: Full-time - Fixed Term (1 Year)\nLocation: Brighton - Remote\nWorking as part of the Commercial Finance function, this role leads all ExCo, Board and shareholder regular and ad-hoc reporting and owns the long-term financial planning model, long term and weekly 13-week cash forecasting and cash management.\nIt contributes to the analysis and business decisions around planning, oversight, and financial forecasting cycles and monthly performance reporting.\nThe position produces high-quality MI, financial insight, and supports decision-making across Study Group.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nLead the production and development of Board and Executive Committee financial presentations (data, analysis, insights and recommendations) and reporting; including Quarterly/scheduled forecasts, annual Budget and ad hoc requests \nLead the monthly Business Performance reporting process to the Board, ExCo and other stakeholders \nMaintain and improve the existing multi-year planning model to aid with multi-year forecasting and plans, working closely with Strategy and Insights team \nMaintain and improve the existing multi-year cashflow model linked to the multi-year P&L forecast model \nDeliver the weekly 13-week liquidity forecast and all aspects of cash management \nAssist with the delivery of the Global planning processes including quarterly forecasting, annual budget \nAssist with the monthly management accounts process \nDevelop and ownership of the Group P&L structure within the finance systems \nWork closely with wider Commercial Finance team on key forecasting and budget cycles and drive a strong team culture acting as a trusted leader within the Commercial finance team \nWork closely with the FP&A Manager - General Managers, Finance Business Partners to provide insight, including identifying and quantifying opportunities and risks \nDevelop new reporting and insight on Product and Regional Profitability, Costs and Risks \nHelp drive change and process improvement via global improvement projects to streamline processes and continued adoption of tools (Power BI) \nAssist optimisation of the Global planning process by maximising utilisation of internal planning tool and ensure consistent forecast process across the team \nOther ad-hoc analysis, reporting and projects as needed \n ABOUT YOUQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent by experience)\nSignificant FP&A or commercial finance experience. \nExperience in cash management and reporting \nExperience in multinational/matrix organisations. \nExperience producing and developing executive reporting. \nFinance modelling \nWorking effectively in a team environment \nABOUT USStudy Group is a leading international education provider that is dedicated and passionate about helping students around the world, creating a brighter future and reaching their full potential.
