This position is designated as hybrid (3 days/week in office) and can be located in one of the following STV offices: Douglassville, PA; Newark, NJ; Lawrenceville, NJ; Dallas, TX and Frisco, TX\nThe Billing Specialist will actively engage in portfolio-based billing on assigned projects. Under minimal supervision, the billing specialist works with the project analyst and other project accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.\nBilling Responsibilities\nResponsible for drafting project invoices with accuracy and in compliance with contract billing terms for assigned portfolio of projects\nAudits the accuracy of billing information on the EO and entered in the ERP system during project setup\nReview of assigned contracts, modifications, supplements, amendments, and task orders including the review of terms of compensation, contract terms, invoice formats, invoicing frequency, supporting document requirements, and approved billing amounts\nWith support from the Billing Supervisor, creates the invoicing template to meet contract requirements\nRoutes invoices to the Project Analyst and PM for approval before finalizing invoice\nMaintains document control of working invoice files and final invoices as well as approvals\nRequests reinstatement of invoices as required and ensures all such reinstated invoices are re-run and there are no unallocated credits at month end\nReviews WIP is in alignment with revenue and reports to Project Analyst if further analysis is required\nDevelops solutions to billing issues and works with systems design to implement new features\nMay submit invoices to clients or client portals as requested\nSupports invoicing of retention balances at direction of Project Analyst or PM\nSupports the reconciliation of annual or end of project overhead audits as required\nAdvises corporate accounting (AR) regarding application of cash receipts to appropriate project and invoice\nQualifications:\nHS/GED Diploma required\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management/Administration preferred or demonstrated equivalent years of experience\nA minimum of 5+ years of related experience\nStrong planning, organizational and communication skills\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required\nExperience in the A/E/C industry preferred\nNote: This position is not eligible for sponsorship\n#LI-AW1 #LI-HYBRID\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\nCompensation Range:\n$58,030.00 - $65,943.00STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
