CEI Construction Inspector
STV is seeking a CEI Inspector to join our Inspection Team in either Franklin or Chattanooga, TN and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
- Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
- Making and checking engineering computations
- Inspecting construction work
- Conducting field tests
- Assist with geotechnical field exploration activities
- Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
Qualifications / Certifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of construction inspection experience
- TDOT Experience preferred
- Site Manager or AASHTOWare experience preferred
- Possess the following certifications or the ability to obtain within six (6) months from the date of hire
- TDEC Level 1 EPSC
- TDOT HMA Certified Roadway Inspector
- TDOT Asphalt Plant Technician
- TDOT Concrete Field Technician or ACI Grade 1 Concrete Technician
- TDOT Radiation Safety and Nuclear Gauge
- TDOT Soils and Aggregates
- Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging
- TDOT Intermediate MOT
- 10 Hour OSHA Safety Training

Compensation Range:
$58,804.00 - $66,822.00STV offers the following benefits
