This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in designing civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.\nCollaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements seamlessly.\nInterface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related issues and ensure project success.\nProvide support in conducting feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform project design and development.\nAssist in preparing technical reports, narratives, and development applications.\nContribute to the development of engineering designs and work with engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.\nLearn and apply current engineering standards and procedures to assigned projects.\nProvide assistance with the preparation of technical proposals and documentation for engineering projects.\nPerform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and team objectives.\nRequired:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and/or Open Roads Designer.\nExperience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\nCompensation Range:\n$47,959.00 - $54,498.00STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
