If you’re looking for a leadership role with room to make an impact, grow a practice, and support a collaborative team, this opportunity offers a strong platform to do that.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Construction Manager, you will support construction management activities and help administer roadway, highway, and bridge construction projects. Key responsibilities include:\nSupport the growth of STV’s CEI practice through client engagement, business development, and pursuit support\nHelp recruit, mentor, and develop construction managers, engineers, inspectors, and field staff\nServe as Project Manager on select transportation projects, as needed.\nProvide quality oversight for CEI project activities, deliverables, documentation, and field operations\nBuild and maintain positive professional relationships with clients, agency partners, and project stakeholders\nSupport proposals, qualifications packages, and technical pursuit materials.\nReview and interpret construction plans, contract documents, and technical specifications\nCommunicate clearly with clients, project teams, and field staff to keep work moving safely and efficiently\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements\nMinimum of 10 years of highway construction administration and inspection experience\nNorth Carolina Professional Engineer license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential preferred\nFamiliarity with NCDOT, North Carolina municipalities, or public-sector transportation clients\nStrong communication skills, including technical writing, client communication, and coordination with project teams\nDemonstrated ability to lead construction teams, promote safe work practices, and support successful transportation project delivery\nWhy STV\nAt STV, you’ll join a nationally recognized transportation and infrastructure firm where your leadership, technical judgment, and client relationships can make a visible impact.
