STV’s diverse markets offer a seasoned professional the opportunity to grow and collaborate on exciting projects throughout the northeastern U.S. and beyond.\nResponsibilities: \nProposal & Marketing Deliverable Development - Manage and lead the development of clean, compliant, and compelling responses to solicitations from a variety of public and private clients and prospective clients, including:\no Manage and coordinate efforts of the marketing team, including graphic designers and junior marketing staff, throughout the proposal development process\no Analyze solicitations and develop schedule, comprehensive outline, and compliance matrix for all responses to solicitations\no Collaborate with the pursuit and project teams to identify sales themes and integrate those themes in an impactful manner into responses to solicitations\no Work with pursuit and project teams to record and communicate responsibility for content development\no Work with internal pursuit teams to develop requests for information (RFIs) for distribution to team partners, and coordinate with teaming partners as they prepare and respond with their materials\no Tailor and/or develop creative, compelling non-technical narratives\no Facilitate color review meetings that solicit meaningful input, including:\n· Schedule color reviews with the pursuit and proposal team, and implement changes on all submission elements\n· Ensure compliance with all solicitation requirements\n· Ensure compliance with STV’s brand and style guidelines\nInterview Preparation - Manage and lead the development of clean, compliant, and compelling interviews with a variety of public and private clients and prospective clients, including:\no Draft storylines and storyboards\no Coordinate with graphic designers to develop visually compelling final presentations\no Coordinate with the presentation team, including those participating from STV’s partners to schedule and facilitate planning sessions and rehearsals\no Manage and support participants with content refinement and adherence to prescribed time limits\no Manage, facilitate, support, and provide coaching\no Manage, facilitate, support, and provide Q&A practice\nGeneral Marketing Support - Support the development of project descriptions and resumes for inclusion in the firm’s database as well as periodic maintenance of these and other marketing-related documents\nPeople Management\nModel professionalism for junior staff, including serving as an informal (if not formal) mentor\nWork collaboratively with peers and managers to communicate needs and champion more junior staff development\nBuild trusted, collaborative relationships with technical professionals at all levels of the organization\nMarketing Management\no Participate in the client strategic planning process with client managers, business development staff, and others to evolve long-term strategic relationships with our current and future clients as well as insights into their goals and objectives\no Initiate and participate in client debriefs to integrate lessons learned in future submittals\nQualifications:\nCreative, self-motivated professional who wants to grow and thrive in a collaborative environment\nCommitted to delivering compelling, high-quality, visually engaging marketing deliverables\nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and research skills\nExcellent writing and grammatical skills and ability to adapt to an industry-specific style guide\nAbility to manage concurrent assignments under strict deadlines and willingness to work overtime when necessary\nClient-focused, with a strong work ethic\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related area of study\nProficiency in Microsoft ® Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Adobe® InDesign\nMinimum 7 years of proposal management experience, including experience with the development of proposals, from inception to submission; design-builds a plus\nExperience in marketing in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry is required\nExperience in the Chicago or Midwest transportation and infrastructure market is highly desired\nApplication Requirement:\nResumes must be accompanied by a cover letter demonstrating what makes you qualified for this position.
