This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in HVAC designs, calculations, and reports for various building projects.\nParticipate in equipment selection and specification writing processes.\nLead projects under the guidance of senior engineers.\nMentor junior staff members and provide guidance as needed.\nMeet with clients to discuss project requirements and make recommendations based on their needs.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, traffic, and geotechnical engineers.\nPlan, organize, and develop engineering activities for construction and maintenance projects.\nEvaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.\nDevise innovative approaches to solve engineering problems.\nPrepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.\nMonitor work to ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.\nPerform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.\nRequired:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\nCompensation Range:\n$47,959.00 - $54,498.00STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
