This role is ideal for a project management professional with a proven track record representing K-12 and academic owners on complex capital improvement programs, facility expansions, renovations, and new construction projects.\nThe Office Engineer will serve as a trusted advisor and owner's representative, working with multidisciplinary project teams through each phase of project delivery reporting to STV Sr. Project Manager or Project Executive. This individual will be responsible for assisting the team in managing project construction activities and reporting. Helping the team to drive project scope, budget, schedule, quality, stakeholder coordination, and risk management while ensuring successful outcomes for education clients.\nAs part of STV's northeast PM/CM group, you will have the opportunity to assist a dynamic team in managing academic projects that improve learning and support the future growth of K-12 systems throughout the region.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as a team member on STV team as an authorized representative for K-12 capital projects.\nPerform office engineering tasks in support of the boarder team.\nBe involved with each phase of the project lifecycle, including programming, budgeting, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, activation, move management, and project closeout depending on the project.\nAssist in developing project reports and upload data into the project PMIS system.\nWork with the team to maintain, and monitor project schedules and milestone deliverables to ensure project objectives are achieved.\nAttend meetings in conjunction with the project manager move the project forward.\nWork with the team and assist in evaluating project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues impacting construction.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of project management experience supporting K-12, higher education, or academic facilities.\nDemonstrated experience managing capital projects valued at $20 million or greater.\nProven ability to manage multiple activities.\nExcellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with Kahua a plus.\nAbility to work as a team member and collaborate to develop creative and practical solutions to complex project challenges while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP, CCM, PE, RA, LEED AP, DBIA or other relevant professional certification.\nExperience delivering projects in occupied environments.\nWhy STV?\nAt STV, you'll join a team that delivers some of the most complex and impactful academic projects in the industry.
