This role is critical to supporting successful program and project delivery by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to quality, schedule, and financial performance.\nThe ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in construction risk management, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable insights for project stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nRisk Identification & Assessment\nLead and facilitate structured risk identification workshops with project teams and stakeholders\nUtilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to identify and evaluate risks impacting project timelines, budgets, and quality\nAnalyze project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and site conditions, to uncover vulnerabilities\nPerform cost and schedule uncertainty modeling, including Monte Carlo simulations, to evaluate potential variance from baseline assumptions\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive risk registers and event models Risk Strategy & Policy Development\nDevelop and implement Risk Management Plans (RMPs) aligned with project and program requirements\nEstablish standardized risk management processes and frameworks to protect client interests\nSupport continuous improvement of risk methodologies, tools, and reporting practices\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Engagement\nPartner with project managers, program leadership, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure integrated risk management across all project phases\nProvide risk advisory support to project teams during planning, execution, and closeout\nCommunication & Reporting\nTranslate complex risk assessments into clear, actionable insights for project teams and leadership\nPrepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and executive-level summaries\nFacilitate risk review meetings with internal and client stakeholders Monitoring & Controls\nContinuously monitor projects for emerging risks and changing conditions\nUpdate risk mitigation strategies and response plans as needed\nProvide regular reporting on risk exposure, mitigation progress, and forecast impacts to senior leadership\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required\n Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program risk management within construction, infrastructure, or related industries\nCertifications: o Risk Management Professional (RMP), Project Risk Management Professional (PRMP), or Decision & Risk Management Professional (DRMP) preferred o Ability to obtain certification within six (6) months is strongly encouraged\nKey Skills & Competencies\nAnalytical Expertise: Strong data analysis, modeling, and problem-solving capabilities, including quantitative risk analysis\nTechnical Skills: Experience with risk modeling tools, schedule analysis, and cost forecasting methodologies\nCommunication: Ability to distill complex risk concepts into clear, business-focused insights\nCollaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams\nAttention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, documentation, and process consistency\nCompensation Range:\n$133,635.31 - $152,726.06STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
