This is a client-facing position for a detail-oriented scheduling professional who can develop, analyze, and maintain complex construction and program schedules, and who communicates schedule status and risk clearly to project leadership and the client.\nThe Senior Scheduler will work closely with project managers, construction management teams, and project controls staff to build and maintain accurate, actionable schedules that support program decision-making and successful project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, update, and maintain detailed construction and program-level schedules using critical path method (CPM) scheduling software.\nPerform schedule analysis, including critical path review, schedule risk assessment, and identification of delays, float erosion, and potential impacts to program milestones.\nSupport construction time determinations, baseline schedule development, and schedule change evaluations.\nPrepare and maintain master program schedules that integrate multiple projects and work streams.\nReview and validate contractor-submitted schedules and schedule updates for accuracy, logic, and completeness.\nAnalyze schedule variances and prepare clear, concise narratives and reports explaining schedule status, trends, and risks to project and program leadership.\nCoordinate with cost, risk, and document control functions to ensure schedule data is integrated with broader project controls reporting.\nSupport claims avoidance by identifying and documenting schedule impacts, delays, and the basis for time extensions as they arise.\nAssist in developing and improving scheduling standards, templates, and best practices across the program.\nCommunicate schedule information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including client representatives.\nQualifications\n8-12 years of progressively responsible experience in construction or program scheduling, preferably supporting transportation, infrastructure, or other complex capital programs.\nAdvanced proficiency in CPM scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6).\nStrong understanding of scheduling principles, including critical path method, schedule logic, resource and cost loading, and schedule risk analysis.\nDemonstrated experience reviewing and validating contractor schedules and schedule updates.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify schedule risks, delays, and impacts and communicate them clearly.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex schedule data into clear, actionable information for project leadership and clients.\nExperience supporting claims avoidance, delay analysis, or time-impact evaluations preferred.\nAbility to work collaboratively across project controls, construction management, and client teams.\nAbility and willingness to work in person in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-driven scheduling professional who takes ownership of schedule accuracy and integrity, proactively identifies risks before they become problems, and communicates schedule status with clarity and confidence.
