This is designated as a hybrid position (3 days/week in office) and can be in our Philadelphia, New York, or Newark offices.\nOverview\nThe Human Resources Generalist serves as a key partner to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees across the organization. This role supports the delivery of HR programs, employee relations, talent processes, compliance initiatives, and day-to-day HR operations while helping create a positive and engaging employee experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nDuties\nServe as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR-related questions, providing timely guidance and escalating complex matters when appropriate.\nProcess employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and offboarding.\nPartner with HR Business Partners to identify and implement solutions that support business objectives.\nMaintain data integrity within Workday and/or Dayforce systems.\nAssist with annual HR programs such as performance reviews, compensation planning, talent reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.\nGenerate and analyze workforce metrics and reports to support business and HR decision-making, recommending courses of action.\nSupport employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, workplace concerns, and documentation.\nLead and support special HR projects and initiatives by establishing timelines, conducting research, analyzing data, and implementing solutions that improve HR operations and employee experience.\nManage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns\nComply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation\nEnhance department services by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments\nContinue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and others will be assigned as necessary\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree\n5+ years of relevant experience - possible roles include HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Representative, HR Specialist, etc.\nDemonstrated skills to include:Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring closed-loop communication\nProblem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset\nInquisitive and resourceful\nA focus on client service\nStrong time management and prioritization\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to build relationships across all levels of the organization.\nProficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms)\n\nExperience in the following is highly desired:\nWorkday or Dayforce HCM\nAEC industry\nEmployee Relations\n#LI-AW1 #HYBRID\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\nCompensation Range:\n$83,978.91 - $95,975.90STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
