This position will involve analysis, design and of highway and pedestrian bridges and associated structures. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional looking to take their career to the next level.\nResponsibilities Include:\nWork as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our TN office.\nProvide analysis, design and of bridges and related structures.\nSupport structural design on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate.\nSupport preparation of technical and cost proposals to win work.\nAssist Senior staff in oversight of project delivery to ensure projects meet or exceed forecasted profit margins.\nProvide leadership and direction by mentoring and motivating junior staff.\nWork with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery plans.\nAssist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.\nFoster and manage client relationships at appropriate levels to help procure new business. Some evenings will be spent at professional society meetings where you will work to develop and maintain relationships with clients, teaming partners, and potential technical staff hires.\nQualifications Include:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree\nMinimum of 8 years of progressive design experience on structural engineering projects.\nTN Professional Engineer (PE) license.\nSolid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects.\nProject management skills and ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.\nCompensation Range:\n$118,489.97 - $135,417.11STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
