We foster a collaborative environment that supports professional advancement while promoting a healthy work-life balance.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and support the design and delivery of transportation projects for clients including PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC), the City of Pittsburgh, and other public agencies.\nManage the development of roadway geometrics, roadway models, cross sections, traffic control plans, signing and pavement marking plans, utility coordination efforts, and right-of-way plans.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers, helping team members grow and succeed”\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, client stakeholders, and marketing professionals to deliver successful projects and support new opportunities.\nCoordinate project activities to ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.\nAssist with the preparation of specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering documentation.\nContribute to proposal development, including technical approaches and pricing strategies.\nSupport client relationship management, business development initiatives, and industry engagement efforts that help expand STV's presence and services.\nBuild strong working relationships with client project managers, technical staff, and key stakeholders.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania.\n5+ years of experience as a Project Manager\n12+ years of experience in highway engineering and transportation design.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and/or other transportation agencies.\nStrong understanding of AASHTO design standards.\nProficient in Microsoft office suite of tools, ASTA scheduling, and ECMS\nDemonstrated experience leading highway design projects from planning through delivery.\nAbility to develop project scopes, prepare engineering estimates, and oversee quality control activities.\nStrong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.\nPassion for mentoring and developing junior engineers.\nInterest in participating in client service, proposal development, and business development activities.\nWhy Join STV?\nAt STV, you'll find opportunities to grow your technical expertise, expand your professional network, take on leadership responsibilities, and make a meaningful impact on transportation projects throughout the region.
