This position will support the design and analysis of buildings, transit stations, retaining walls, and other structures. The role will provide opportunities to gain hands-on experience in structural engineering, develop technical skills, and work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of challenging projects.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with structural design, analysis, and engineering calculations for buildings and other structures.\nSupport the development of structural drawings and plans using Revit, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation.\nAssist with the design and analysis of steel, concrete, and other structural systems.\nSupport the preparation of design-related reports, calculations, and technical documentation.\nAssist with reviewing structural plans, specifications, shop drawings, and other construction submittals.\nSupport the analysis and evaluation of existing structures.\nAssist with reviewing contract plans for conformance with established design criteria.\nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members.\nPerform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.\nQualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.\nCoursework in structural analysis, steel design, concrete design, or related structural engineering topics.\nStrong interest in structural engineering and willingness to learn.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious internship or co-op experience in structural engineering.\nFamiliarity with Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or structural analysis software.\nFamiliarity with structural design principles and applicable engineering standards and codes.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\nCompensation Range:\n$54,810.00 - $62,284.00STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
