The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, support our current staff, and assist in growing the water/wastewater practice to better serve our clients statewide.\nOur engineers work on high-quality, high-profile national and international projects. You will lead and participate in the full project cycle, from planning and design through final construction closeout. You will also be a part of charting the growth strategy for this region as we shape the future of the water business for the company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys technical leadership, client collaboration, and mentoring project teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the preparation of contract documents, including plans and specifications.\nPlan and design water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.\nPerform and review pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations, pump calculations, and system-\ncurve development for pump sizing.\nPrepare and review construction and design cost estimates.\nProvide technical direction and quality-control oversight for engineers and designers.\nManage project tasks, scopes, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and multidisciplinary coordination.\nServe as a technical and client-facing representative during project meetings and coordination efforts.\nSupport business development, proposal preparation, interviews, and the development of future projects.\nConduct site visits during design and construction to observe construction installation.\nReview construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.\nMentor junior engineers and support the continued development of project staff.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or an NCEES-recognized equivalent. A master’s degree is preferred.\nTen or more years of experience in the design and construction administration of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects in a consulting environment.\nProfessional Engineer license in Kentucky or the ability to obtain Kentucky licensure through reciprocity.\nDemonstrated experience with water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, collection, conveyance, or treatment systems.\nExperience leading technical design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project delivery.\nExperience managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.\nDemonstrated ability to maintain client relationships and support business-development activities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nExperience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit preferred.\nExperience with InfoWater, WaterGEMS, KYPIPE, or InfoWorks preferred.\nExperience or ability and interest to obtain Associate DBIA or DBIA certification\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with clients and project teams.\nCommitment to continued professional growth and staff development.\nInterest and ability to serve as company representative in local, regional and national industry organizations and committees\nCompensation Range:\n$112,253.66 - $128,289.89STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
