You’ll contribute immediately to water and wastewater project development and execution as part of a growing practice. Projects involve a wide range of types, sizes, and clients, including treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution and collection systems.\nAs a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from planning and design through construction, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions for our clients. You’ll manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality while supporting client relationships, business development, and staff growth.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nManage the planning, design, permitting, and construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.\nDevelop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.\nLead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with subconsultants to meet project requirements.\nProvide technical guidance and review engineering calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.\nServe as a primary client contact and communicate project progress, technical recommendations, and decisions.\nCoordinate with local and state agencies to support permitting and regulatory approvals.\nMonitor project financial performance, manage changes, and address issues affecting delivery.\nSupport proposals, fee estimates, client presentations, and other business-development activities.\nBuild and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.\nMentor junior engineers and support the development of project staff.\nPerform other incidental and related duties as required.\nHere’s What You’ll Need\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering, including experience managing projects.\nFlorida Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.\nExperience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.\nStrong understanding of water and wastewater engineering principles, design standards, and permitting requirements.\nAbility to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and client coordination.\nStrong technical writing, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.\nAbility to travel periodically for client meetings and project site visits.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with municipal utilities and public-sector clients in the Jacksonville area or broader Florida market.\nExperience with collaborative delivery of infrastructure projects, DBIA certification a plus\nExperience with water or wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution or collection systems.\nFamiliarity with Florida Department of Environmental Protection and applicable water management district permitting requirements.\nExperience developing proposals, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development.\nCompensation Range:\n$118,489.97 - $135,417.11STV offers the following benefits\nHealth insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)\nDisability insurance\nLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment\n401(k) Plan\nRetirement Counseling\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBack-Up Dependent Care\nParental Leave\nContinuing Education Program\nProfessional Licensure and Society Memberships\nSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
