This role serves as the central owner of procurement systems, reporting, process governance, and supplier onboarding.\nThe position is accountable for maintaining, creating, and developing procurement policies, processes, and procedural documentation. It also leads the management of key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring data integrity within the ERP system, and oversees supplier onboarding activities. In addition, the role is responsible for monitoring and reporting supplier on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance.\nKey Deliverables:\nServe as the procurement lead for IFS - Super User, maintaining categorisation, workflows, and reporting, as well as onboarding processes and optimisation of procurement systems.\n\nDevelop and maintain procurement dashboards, reporting methods, automated and analytics.\n\nLead continuous improvements in system functionality, data structures, SRM, Supplier Master Records and process automation.\n\nTroubleshoot system issues and coordinate with business IFS System Owner.\n\nEnsure consistent and standardised PO, contract, and vendor data structures.\n\nProduce weekly, monthly, and quarterly procurement performance reports.\n\nMaintain the procurement contract register.\n\nDeliver insights to support category, supplier negotiations, and decisions.\n\nDeliver ad-hoc analysis to support vessels, subsea operations, and projects.\n\nLead supplier onboarding processes end-to-end.\n\nMaintain supplier master data standards.\n\nMaintain and update procurement procedures, policies, and guidance documents.\n\nSupport audits, compliance checks, and process adherence monitoring.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nAct as the central point of expertise for procurement systems and reporting.\n\nSupport x2 Procurement Transactional Officers with expediting, PO raising, OTIF measurement, and system queries.\n\nCollaborate with Direct Buyers to provide data insights.\n\nPartner with Strategic Category Manager on analytics and performance monitoring.\n\nLead and manage key supplier categories across indirect spend.\n\nApply strong procurement expertise to drive value, ensure compliance and optimise supplier performance.\n\nQualification, Skills and Experience:\nExperience in procurement, supply chain, analytics, or systems administration.\nStrong ERP proficiency (IFS preferred).\nExcel/data analysis capability; Power BI preferred.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly.\nExperience in marine, subsea, engineering, or project industries.\nKnowledge of procurement best practices.\nExperience in change management.\nAccurate, timely reporting.\nIdeal:\nA fully maintained contract register.\nEfficient supplier onboarding.\nStandardised processes consistently applied.\nImproved system utilisation and optimised workflows.\nLocation: This role is based in the Chelmsford office and follows a hybrid working arrangement, with working 3 days in the office, Tuesday to Thursday and 2 days working remotely , Monday and Friday.\nWe kindly ask that Recruitment Agencies, do not contact us regarding this role, as we will not requiring agency support at this time.
