If you are passionate about developing real-world climate-impact technology in an innovative, startup-style environment, this is the role for you.\nThe Role & Responsibilities\nIn this position, you will take full ownership of key mechanical subsystems, ensuring they are robust, cost-effective, and production-ready.\nDesign Ownership: Lead the mechanical design of subsystems from concept through to manufacturing release.\n\nTechnical Execution: Produce high-quality 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and necessary engineering calculations.\n\nManufacturing Liaison: Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles to improve standards and reduce costs.\n\nInternational Coordination: Act as the engineering interface with international suppliers to ensure timely delivery.\n\nProblem Solving: Rapidly resolve design issues based on feedback from manufacturing and suppliers.\n\nMentorship: Guide and review the work of junior engineers to maintain high standards of integrity and safety.\n\nKey Requirements\nExperience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design within a production environment.\n\nIndustry Background: Proven track record in the Marine, Wind, or Offshore sectors.\n\nTechnical Skills: High proficiency in Siemens NX, Inventor, or equivalent 3D CAD tools.\n\nFabrication Knowledge: Strong experience with large structural assemblies, welding, and fabrication.\n\nStandards: Familiarity with class or certification requirements (e.g., DNV or LR).\n\nTravel: Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants in China (approximately 1 week per quarter) and visit various supplier sites.\n\nLanguage (Highly Desirable): Fluency or partial fluency in Mandarin is a significant advantage and may command a higher salary bracket.\n\nWhy Join?\nYou will be joining a mission-led business at the forefront of the green maritime revolution.
