This role ensures timely and accurate financial information, supports operational decision-making, and helps drive profitability across manufacturing, inventory, and distribution activities. The Finance Controller will have strong FP&A and business analytics background. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial discipline, improve processes, manage risk, and support strategic growth.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nOversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, fixed assets, and month-end and year-end close.\nPrepare, review, and distribute timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.\nLead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning processes.\nMaintain strong internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and support compliance with GAAP and company standards.\nMonitor manufacturing and inventory financial performance, including standard costing, inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, margin analysis, and operational variances.\nPartner with operations, sales, procurement, and leadership teams to evaluate pricing, profitability, inventory levels, and capital expenditures.\nCoordinate internal and external audits and support tax and regulatory reporting requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.\nSupervise and develop finance and accounting staff, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality output.\nProvide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic planning and business decisions.\nJob Skills Required:\nStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and GAAP.\nExperience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial analysis in a manufacturing or furniture environment.\nAbility to interpret financial results and translate data into actionable business recommendations.\nStrong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nHigh attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational effectiveness.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/ERP systems.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position is responsible for supervising finance and accounting team members and may include assigning work, reviewing performance, training employees, and supporting department development.\nOther Duties & Responsibilities:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
