This role requires a proactive, high-volume recruiter with experience in the Independent Contractor model, preferably within the big and bulky delivery space with a strong understanding of contractor compliance, and the ability to build lasting relationships with business leaders and prospective IC partners.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSource, screen, and onboard Independent Contractors for delivery and logistics operations in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.\nBuild and maintain a pipeline of qualified Independent Contractors to meet market-specific needs and growth projections.\nPartner with local market leaders and operations managers to forecast capacity needs and address recruitment gaps.\nEnsure all Independent Contractors meet compliance requirements, including insurance, background checks, and equipment standards.\nTrack recruitment activity, conversion rates, and onboarding milestones.\nCollaborate with Compliance, Fleet, and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.\nMaintain accurate records within applicant tracking systems and recruitment dashboards.\nConduct exit interviews for offboarded Independent Contractors to inform and enhance retention strategies.\nMonitor and report on Independent Contractor capacity trends and recommend actions as needed.\nAssist with recruitment marketing campaigns, events, and external vendor partnerships.\nQUALIFICATONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume recruiting; logistics or contractor recruiting experience strongly preferred - preferably in the final mile/home delivery industries.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nKnowledge of independent contractor (1099) model and relevant compliance standards\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple markets and deadlines\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills\nProficiency in recruitment platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, OpenForce (Plus)\nBilingual a plus (especially Spanish)\nAbility to work non-traditional hours if necessary\nTravel:\nAbility to travel within the United Ability to travel within the United States as needed, including driving and/or air travel to various facilities.\nPHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
