An analytical mindset will be essential to effectively troubleshoot, architect, and improve the network’s functions. The goal is to create and sustain a well-functioning and reliable Network to ensure the unobtrusive operation of business.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\nProvide support for enhancements by maximizing functionality of Network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.\nInterface with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate delivery and maintenance of equipment and services.\nCreation of processes and procedures for network operations.\nEnsure Network department support tickets are resolved within acceptable timeframes.\nArchitect, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks, Wireless Networks, Wide Area Networks and data/voice communications equipment.\nSupport installation and maintenance of Network hardware and software.\nInstall and troubleshoot IP based LAN/WAN/WLAN and IP-based routing and bridging solutions.\nAssist with routine and emergency maintenance of all data center equipment.\nManage network performance monitoring and analysis.\nArchitect new solutions in-line with industry best practices.\nIdentify and correct faults and provide resolution to incident and request tickets escalated from the Support Desk.\nMaintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.\nJob skills required:\nComprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRP.\nIn-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers.\nAbility to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.\nAbility to design, implement and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and security systems infrastructure.\nAbility to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.\nAbility to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNo Supervisory responsibilities\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Operations preferred;
